Über Dr. Patsama

Dr. Patsama Vichinsartvichai ist Facharzt für Reproduktionsmedizin (IVF) in Thailand, der nach dem aktuellen Stand des Fachgebiets arbeitet, und ehemaliger Leiter der Abteilung für Reproduktionsmedizin der Klinik für Frauenheilkunde und Geburtshilfe an der Faculty of Medicine Vajira Hospital. Er gehört zu den sehr wenigen Ärzten weltweit, die sich gezielt auf die Diagnose und Behandlung angeborener Fehlbildungen der Gebärmutter spezialisiert haben.

Sein Medizinstudium, die Facharztausbildung in Frauenheilkunde und Geburtshilfe sowie die Subspezialisierung in Reproduktionsmedizin absolvierte er an der Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital der Mahidol University. Er besitzt anerkannte internationale Zertifizierungen: FACOG (Fellow des American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists), EFOG-EBCOG (European Fellow of Obstetrics & Gynaecology) und EFRM-ESHRE/EBCOG (European Fellow of Reproductive Medicine).

Im Bereich der minimalinvasiven Chirurgie besitzt er die Facharztzertifizierung des thailändischen Ärzterats (Thai Medical Council) für gynäkologische endoskopische Chirurgie und absolvierte eine Weiterbildung in laparoskopischer und hysteroskopischer Chirurgie bei GESEA-MIGS, The European Academy of Gynaecological Surgery (Belgien). Außerdem erwarb er einen Master of Clinical Embryology (MClinEmbryol) an der Monash University in Australien.

Zu seinen weiteren Führungsfortbildungen zählen das Southeast Asia Healthcare Leadership Program (HMS-SEAL) der Harvard Medical School — mit Auszeichnung für das Abschlussprojekt — und ein Certificate in AI in Healthcare der MIT Sloan School of Management.

Heute betreut er seine Patientinnen und Patienten bei LIFE by Dr. Pat persönlich und leitet die Facebook-Community „มีลูกง่ายกับหมอพัฒน์ศมา — Fertile by Dr. Pat“, in der er Fragen rund um den Kinderwunsch warmherzig und verständlich beantwortet — für jede Familie.
